Classic Easy Bread

I have always wanted to be a sourdough starter girl, but in college I'm far too busy. Maybe post-grad, I'll become that girl, but for now, I've found a new way to bake bread that is honestly just as good in my opinion. I'll be real-- I'm not a huge bread fan. I never buy it at the store, but this bread might have changed my mind. It's so simple, easy to do on a busy college schedule, & only takes a few ingredients! Every time I make it in my house, it's gone within the day. I've made it for dinner parties, as a gift, & just for fun. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
Flour: Obviously, bread needs flour! The key ingredient that makes the structure of the bread. Make sure it all gets incorporated into the dough!
Rapid-Rise Yeast: This helps the bread to rise. Make sure you get the rapid-rise one, either in a packet or jar, so that the bread is able to rise in the three hours.
Cooking Salt: Cooking salt, or Kosher salt, is necessary to give the bread a little flavor! Make sure the salt has no iodine or additives. Don't get it mixed up!
Warm Water: Warm water, even just tap water, helps mix the whole thing together. If at first there isn't enough, add a little more until the dough is the right texture.
Dutch Oven: The Dutch oven is essential for baking the bread properly. It'll be heated in the oven before the dough is put in and baked with the lid on and off. If you don't have one, it might be time to invest or borrow from a friend!
Easy Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Rapid-Rise Yeast
2 teaspoons Cooking Salt
1 1/2 cups salt
Instructions:
Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl until they are fully mixed together
Add the water, preferably 1/2 cup at a time, until the dry ingredients form a dough
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 2-3 hours, until it is doubled in size. At this point, the dough can be put in the fridge to rest for up to 3 days!
After the dough is done rising, place the Dutch oven in the oven at 450 degrees. Let it heat for 30 minutes while the dough comes to room temperature. Shape the dough into a round shape on a piece of parchment paper.
Put the dough in the Dutch oven and bake with the lid on for 30 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for 12 minutes until golden and crispy.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and enjoy!
Conclusion
We love to eat this bread with dinner, with homemade butter, with cottage cheese, or by itself. Hope y'all enjoy!
