This is my favorite easy dessert to make & take! I've brought it to friendsgivings, birthdays, and most recently, the 2025 NFL Super Bowl party. My mom made this growing up & would even sometimes freeze it if we had extra. It's been a staple at almost every Thanksgiving & Christmas for us. Before you start, make sure you have a bundt pan (been there) & people to share with! Hope y'all enjoy this as much as my friends & I did watching the Super Bowl!

Ingredient Breakdown

  1. Cake Mix: This makes the cake so easy-- adding it in creates the base and is quick!

  2. Pudding: This adds in the dry chocolate flavoring, yum!

  3. Sour Cream: I was thrown off at first, too, but this adds in the moisture and makes the texture perfecttt

  4. Chocolate Chips: The recipe calls for 1 cup, but I like to add in some more to make it extra chocolate-y and gooey!

  5. Icing: Not a necessity, but a great addition! Recipe from Southern Mountain Girl, it's delish!
